What you will work on
Joining BridgeFund means diving into a world where your expertise in Node.JS and microservices will shine. You’ll be pivotal in designing and implementing secure, scalable Node.JS microservices while orchestrating the migration to our cutting-edge tech landscape. Your role involves translating business visions into tech realities, actively engaging across the software development lifecycle and collaborating seamlessly with diverse teams.
In this role, you’ll:

Design and implement secure, scalable, and maintainable NodeJS microservices to drive our FinTech platform’s evolution.

Lead the migration process, sculpting a microservices-oriented architecture that aligns with BridgeFund’s vision.

Act as a bridge between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring harmony in execution.

Dive into the entire software development lifecycle, ideating, executing, and deploying seamlessly.

Integrate with third-party APIs and databases. This requires being familiar with various authentication protocols, data formats, and error handling mechanisms.

Mentor and guide junior developers, sharing knowledge and expertise to help them grow and develop their skills. This fosters a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues, identify and resolve bugs, and optimize application performance. This requires a strong understanding of performance metrics, error handling, and optimization techniques.

What we can learn from you
BridgeFund thrives on collaborative brilliance. We're seeking someone well-versed in Node.JS, TypeScript, and Nest.JS, with a knack for microservice architecture and RESTful APIs. Your 5+ years of Node.JS expertise and 3+ years in microservices will be key, coupled with your hands-on experience integrating third-party APIs and databases. Your familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and your track record in MySQL and MongoDB will be invaluable as we advance.
What you bring to the table:
Proficiency in NodeJS, TypeScript, and frameworks like NestJS.
Strong understanding of microservice architecture and RESTful APIs.
5+ years experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB and SQL databases like MySQL.
Hands-on familiarity with GitLab, Kubernetes, Docker, and monitoring tools.
Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS to drive our innovation forward.
